Director of Service, Indianapolis
Rob is responsible for sales and day-to-day operations for EMCOR Services Shambaugh (ESS) throughout Indianapolis and mid-central Indiana.
He collaborates with the sales team as they develop value strategies for customers. He also reviews all projects and service agreement estimates.
To help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, Rob coordinates manpower throughout our service, special projects/construction, and chiller divisions.
Rob began working in the HVAC/construction industry in 1994 with Shambaugh & Son, L.P.’s mechanical group. Throughout his career, he has developed his expertise through various roles of increasing responsibility, including Sheet Metal Fabricator, Senior Financial Analyst, Project Manager, Service Manager, Sales Account Executive, and Business Consultant.
In 2020, Rob joined ESS as Director of Service, and applies his talent and enthusiasm to help ESS deliver an exceptional customer experience. He has been involved in projects for a wide range of customer types, including FedEx, Butler University, Subaru of Indiana, The Major General Emmett J. Bean Federal Center, Eminence Community Schools, and Monarch Beverage.
Rob earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of St. Francis, and his master’s degree in applied management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
To continue his professional development, Rob stays involved with industry organizations including Mechanical Contractors Association of America, Association of General Contractors of America, and Facilities Management Group. He is also active in OneZone, the new chamber of commerce for Carmel and Fishers in Indiana.
Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children boating, or at a sports park playing baseball and soccer. He is also involved in the University of St. Francis’ Student Alumni Mentoring program and Letterman’s Club. In his spare time, Rob enjoys hunting.
